A weekly series for BBC local radio will mark the forthcoming 50th anniversary of Top of the Pops, introduced by Shaun Tilley. <br /> <br />Top of the Pops Playback will feature familiar names from the music business, former presenters and members of the TOTP dance troupes to remember classic editions of the programme. <br /> <br />Guests for feature editions include David Cassidy, The Osmonds, Tony Blackburn, Simon Bates, Johnnie Walker, Pans People, Legs & Co plus Pete Murray and David Jacobs, the two surviving members of the original presenting team. <br /> <br />Guests on this edition of Top of The Pops from 26/08/1971 are Babs Lord & Ruth Pearson. <br /> <br />This edition hosted by Jimmy Savile, sadly wiped, with Pans People dancing to 'Move on Up' and there is debate if they danced to 'I'm Still Waiting'
